Founded back in 2008, Tico’s Surf School is a family-run surf school in Playa Sámara on the Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica, offering certified and professional surf lessons for all ages. From kids to adults, everyone can enjoy our services, including surfing pictures, video analysis, and surf trips to nearby beaches.
If you are a total beginner and want to try out your first whitewater waves during your vacation, Playa Sámara is perfect for you throughout the year! Our instructors all speak Spanish and English, and some of them also teach in German. They are all certified by the international ISA Surf Association.
